After revealing performance figures for its DBS-successor AM 310 Vanquish this week, British automaker Aston Martin is planning to expand its product line next month with the addition of a limited edition superbike, the One-77. The Aston Martin-brand two-wheeler will feature the same “motorsport-delivered data logging system” as the Factor001 by Factor Bikes, meaning it will provide over 100 channels of performance feedback (speed, rate of climb and power) as well as provide biometric data (measurements of ECG, respiration rate and core body temperature). The bike itself is made of a carbon frame with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, disc brakes, full carbon 8-spoke wheels and leather taped handle bars. When we mentioned that this’ll be a limited bike, we mean very limited — like the car version, only 77 examples of the One-77 bicycle will be produced and priced at about $33,300 (£25,000). There’s no detail pictures of the One-77 yet, so to get a better idea of what to expect, click through the Gallery for images of the superbike’s inspiration, the Factor001.
