Korean artist Hyungkoo Lee's detailed cartoon bone exposés

Korean artist Hyungkoo Lee introduces Homo Animatus, a series of sculptures that are skeletal representations of familiar cartoon characters. With names like Canis Latrans Animatus (Wile E. Coyote), Geococcyx Animatus (Roadrunner) and Lepus Animatus (Bugs Bunny), and dissecting everyone from Tom & Jerry to Goofy, this Yale M.F.A. graduate is seriously giving natural history museums across the world a run for their money. Remember wen your brain was animating everything around you the last time you were on acid? Lee’s work is like the resin, aluminum stick, stainless steel, and oil paint representation of that.
