We’re all anticipating Los Angeles producer and main dude behind Brainfeeder records, Flying Lotus’ (or FlyLo), new album Until the Quiet Comes. The album is set to be released October 2nd in the U.S. via Warp (Oct. 1 in the UK) and will feature guest spots from Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and singer/songwriter Erykah Badu to name but a few. Until then, FlyLo’s keeping busy by contributing to the Adult Swim Singles project with this track “Between Friends”, which features Odd Future (Golf Wang Kill Them All)’s previously missing member Earl Sweatshirt, as well as a mysterious Captain Murphy. It’s great to hear new material from FlyLo, especially since his last album Cosmogramma made endless top album of 2010 lists (plus the constant rotation playlist here at LIAS HQ). As an added bonus, there’s an instrumental remix of “Between Friends” from fellow Brainfeeder artist, Thundercat. Hooray!

Peep the original “Between Friends” (ft Earl Sweatshirt) + a remix from Thundercat below that…
