Well this is definitely soemthing you don’t get every day: free music courtesy of Daft Punk. During Paris’ Fashion Week on Monday Yves Saint Laurent had their show, and who do you suppose they got to put the music together? Why none other than Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter —  SL’s fashion designer Hedi Slimane’s long time friends. Daft Punk took the music by legendary late blues artist Junior Kimbrough and edited together a very evocative 15-minute set as the soundtrack to the show, and have posted it up for us all to enjoy. Quality blues, Daft Punk… what more could you ask for on a boring ass humpday?
