Three customized Italian-made frames in homage to Detroit

The highly talented brothers over at RETROSUPERFUTURE have collaborated with Carhartt’s premium Work In Progress sub label to release their latest collection of handmade eyewear. Specifically for the upcoming 2014 Spring/Summer season, RETROSUPERFUTURE have taken three of their silhouettes and had them customized by Carhartt WIP, who names each frame after an area of their hometown of Detroit (Brightmoor, Stokely and Hampton). As with all of SUPER’s eyewear, the sunglasses are made of Italian acetate with Zeiss lenses — and are offered in a selection of vivid combinations, colors and prints, all adorned with Carhartt’s signature ‘C’ logo on the temple tips and “Carhartt” stamped on the inside arms. Pick them up here for between $200-220 (€149-€159) over at SUPER.
