Hong Kong toy-artist Michael Lau has teamed up with manufacturer How2work to bring a new series of figures from Lau’s Gardenergala universe. World class toymaker Lau has been re-inventing the gardener universe since 1999, his first line being that which would inspire the vinyl-toy movement throughout the world. It would take some time before his toys could be mass produced, and with the “palm” sized (measuring 7″) series, pricing is more accessible to collectors. Each season contains 10 characters in all — meaning nine characters plus one “bonus”. Also notable is the spray-can packaging. Pre-order the set now for $525.
