The classic canvas high-top sneakers get abstract
Taro Okamoto, an abstract Japanese artist who rose to recognition during the WWII era, has had his motif images printed on the classic Converse All Star silhouette. Traditional rubber sole and toe cap are upgraded to the world of avant grade art as his signature work makes it to both the inner and outer of the canvas upper. These newest additions to the Converse Japan “Mr. Simple and Miss Decora” run in the neighborhood of $90 US.
