Toronto future R&B crooner drops second mix in trilogy

Highly secretive future R&B/slow-step crooner The Weeknd come through this fine morning with his new Thursday mixtape, the followup to the justifiably hyped House of Balloons which came out this past spring. Utilizing highly stylized user-created videos, the Toronto-based The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye) has managed to keep a very low profile despite much scrutiny, but that will all be changing soon I’m sure. The 3rd installation of his announced mixtape trilogy, Echoes of Silence, is set to drop sometime in the autumn. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open. If the limit is hit, go HERE for free download…
