I don’t know Chris Gilmour, never heard of him before stumbling across his work last night. I’m pretty sure, though, that stepping inside his head would be nuts. Guy is obviously a bit off his rocker. Not necessarily avoid eye contact crazy—he could be  the nicest guy in the world—but there’s something special going on up there if you build life-size objects out of glue and cardboard. Just those two things, nothing else. No hidden wires or supports for the frames. Down to the detail. The chain on the bike, the spark plugs in the car, the instruments on the dentist chair—everything—is glue and cardboard. People like this amaze me.
