Numark has just released the PT-01USB, a hybrid of their TTUSB and PT-01 tables. Portable and battery-powered, the USB turntable lets you to listen to and transfer your vinyl to digital MP3 files anywhere, anytime. No special drivers are needed to connect the unit to your Mac or PC and it comes complete with the software. The RCA line input lets you connect other sound sources such as tape decks and convert them to digital files too. You also get Audacity for editing your tracks.

The one question that comes to mind, when would you actually need to digitize vinyl on the road?
