Get ready for some grimey, limb-twitching music—Kuduro style. I have a feeling that the ghetto-funk DJ/producer team Buraka Som Sistema (Lil’ John, Riot, Conductor, and MC Kalaf) is about to go on blast when their debut long-player, Black Diamond (the title is a reference to the inherent corruption in the oil and diamond businesses, btw), drops on April 7. Here’s a video for “Sound of Kuduro,” a song featuring M.I.A., DJ Znobia (one of the foremost DJs of the genre) Saborosa, and Puto Prata.
