13 revisions of Quentin Tarantino's latest opus

Went to a great opening last night for the Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds, a Benefit for Haitian Relief at The Upper Playground Art Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles. SA Studios and Upper Playground commissioned 13 artists to make alternate movie posters for Quentin Tarantino‘s latest opus, and after months of work they’re finally finished (only after the tragedy was the money raised allocated for Haitian relief). Each poster will be limited to only 6 prints and each will be signed by Tarantino, and sold for $300. Eli Roth made the trip down, as well as most of the artists — David Choe, Sam Flores, Estevan Oriol, Grotesk, Jeremy Fish, Patrick Martinez, Alex Pardee (above right), Dora Drimalas, Munk One, N8 Van Dyke, Rene Alamanza (above left), Morning Breath and Skinner Davis. Some great stuff, and at limited runs of only 6 prints guaranteed a great art investment…
