There are some collaborations you wouldn’t see coming, but deserve all the more praise because of it. Two British designers have teamed up to bring a little luxury to your home: iconic fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and wallpaper design house Cole & Son. The wallpaper that was produced from this collaboration is nothing short of beautiful. All the designs are unique, vibrant, and the most interesting part about them is that they all come from Westwood’s previous collections: the squiggle print from her Fall/Winter 81 “Pirate collection, the trompe l’oeil tartan print from her plaid designs. Personally, my favorite part about these wallpapers is the texture that is innately in them, as they were transformed from fabric to paper — I think it may add a whole ‘nother dimension to your interior design. In the words of Vivienne Westwood herself, “It is good when my ideas get carried over into other artistic media.” Yes, it is very good indeed. Though the wallpaper don’t come cheap, $87-$298 a roll, it’s probably much cheaper than hiring the designer to decorate your home herself. Get your home some iconic style here.
