But Sony’s new translucent SLR features a unique design, a translucent mirror (not case) that allows the camera to focus quicker and more efficiently than any other camera on the market. By having a translucent mirror, it allows the camera to be in continuous phase detection. The camera shown above is only a prototype of what the camera will look like, however, subtract the clear casing and add opaque black (boooo!). It’s unique approach to show reporters and enthusiasts how the camera actually functions on the inside. So don’t get your hopes up, 80’s packaging isn’t quite back in yet…
