An exclusive single malt whisky by the scotch distillery
Glenfiddich got its name from the Gaellic term meaning ‘Valley of the Deer’, so it’s little surprise the Scottish distillery emblazons one of the elegant animals on each of its green bottles. That same richness of tradition transfers to their newest exclusive single malt whisky range, the Age of Discovery. Brian Kinsman, Malt Master for Glenfiddich, selected the spirits used to create the exclusive 19-year-old whisky and matured them in oak casks previously used to age fine Madeira wine. The result is an earthy nose of sweet ripe figs and orange marmalade, with a spicy, cinnamon and crushed black pepper taste. The first in the Glenfiddich Age of Discovery range, the 19-year-old expression is now available for about $200.
