Glitch/8-bit/bass/breakcore/noise producer Baseck is hardly averse to giving away some stellar music, as he did with his Heavy Metal 8-Bit mixtape and Strawberry Muck: Remixes EP projects. This week, in anticipation of his upcoming show/birthday celebration “So Simple presents: Some More Dope Shit” this Saturday, August 13th (flyer after the Jump), the Los Angeles-based Baseck has made a new 30-minute mix showcasing many of the artists performing at the event. If you like your tunes light and breezy, this is not your mix — it starts off with some grindcore metal and then moves into heavy electronica territory.
