Few things go better together than whisky and grown men riding wild animals, a concept Pendleton clearly understands well. The Canadian distillery will soon release a limited edition 12-year-old rye whisky dubbed the Pendleton 1910, a tribute to the year of the first-ever Pendleton Round-Up rodeo. In celebration of their role as the official spirit of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, the whisky comes packaged in a bottle with embossed detailing that resembles the tooling on a saddle surrounding the famous Pendleton Round-Up bucking horse. The rare 100% Canadian rye whisky, known as the Cowboy Whisky, delivers a full body flavor while maintaining a smooth finish. Originally created to honor the bold spirit and independence of the American cowboy, the whisky now celebrates the 101-year-old tradition of one of the most prestigious rodeo events in the world. Distribution doesn’t begin until this fall and with only limited quantities available.
