Limited production decks crafted locally in New York City
Looks like the Wu Tang Clan are making a concerted effort to come out strong in 2012 — maybe it’s the impending Mayan Apocalypse that’s got RZA all riled up. Besides cornerstone member Raekwon unleashing a free mixtape to kick off the year and persistent rumors of an upcoming album, now the Wu have collaborated with New York’s Chapman Skateboards to produce a series of limited edition Wu Tang-branded skate decks, all crafted locally in the NYC. The designs stay super clean and minimal, sticking to variations on the Wu logo or their timeless C.R.E.A.M. motif. No word on price yet, but the Wu Tang Clan x Chapman Skateboard Decks should be hitting select retailers in the coming weeks.
