World renowned architect/designer Zaha Hadid has been commissioned by London-based art dealer and writer Kenny Schachter to design a boat as part of his Rove projects, also home to the Z-Car which is another collaborative project between the power duo. Measuring at 8 meters (~26ft), the asymmetric, carbon fibre and fiberglass speedboat will be offered as an extremely limited edition of 12 at €375,000 (~470k). At least it’s designed to be seat 8 of your naked supermodels friends, right? Despite low production numbers, you can choose whether you want the boat in black, white, gray, and blue; although let’s be real, the black prototype looks way badass, almost like spacecraft on water. The idea behind the design of the Z Boat was to think of a vessel as an expression of art and architecture using only the most advanced means and materials. And they’ve got that down… I’m just waiting for heavy weaponry to appear on the front of the boat with lasers. Lots of lasers.
