Inspired by wristwatches worn by the military aviators during World War I, Bell & Ross have introduced their rendition: the Vintage WW1 Chronographe Monopoussoir. The wristwatch pairs a 45 mm polished steel case, matching horns and leather strap. The Chronographe Monopoussoir features Swiss-constructed automatic la Joux-Perret movement and a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal cover, single button chronograph (perhaps most reflective of the 1920’s), as well as 60-second and 30-minute counters. The Vintage WWI Chronographe Monopoussoir comes in two styles: Heritage, featuring a brown dial with sand-clored hands and calf skin strap, and an Ivory dial version featuring blue-steel hands and a blue alligator strap (above). The Heritage version is available for $7,600 and the Ivory dial version is available for $8,000. A timeless design, the Vintage WWI Chronographe Monopoussoir is now available from select Bell & Ross stockists.
