The iconic Nike high-top returns with all original branding

In their “The Air Jordan OG” series Nike resurrects their beloved Air Jordan 1 high-tops — only this time with all the original logos, instead of with the Jumpman23 branding you see on on most recreations. Many find the Jumpman23 logo to be garish, and ruin an otherwise good pair of shoes — count us among them — so the announcement that Nike is bringing back all OG logos is a welcome one. This pair is on the “Black Toe” colorway, which is a slight derivation of the iconic White / Varsity Red-Black colorway that put that sneaker on the map. Moreover, its high cut is closer to the original shoe’s design. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black Toe” Sneaker is slated to return in May — keep your eyes peeled.
