It should be little surprise that when Lil Wayne designs a shoe that it’s gonna be a eye popper, and Weezy’s signature shoe for Supra definitely qualifies. The aptly named Chimera reflects its namesake by incorporating a variety of materials across the three colorways (grey above, white, black), including a ton of synthetics, suede, and pebbled leathers. The shoe’s bulbous and angular shape is hard to digest — with its giant heel panel, beefy tongue and vertical midsole — but considering the success of Kanye’s similarly warped Nike shoe the Chimera will find its fanbase. The Lil Wayne x Supra “Chimera” Sneaker will hit Supra stores on May 17.
