Someone peep the horizon for the Four Horsemen, cos it’s been one helluva week for technology. First, the Faster One beats the SSC Ultimate Aero and Bugatti Veyron to become the fastest car in the world, then Ferrari reveals its first front-engine car, then some dude invents the world’s smallest helicopter, and now some Swiss jerk has successfully flown the first one-man jet-fuel-powered wing. Giving a giant middle finger to Icarus, Yves “Rocket Man” Rossy flew 8200 feet above western Switzerland (the Swiss, again?) for more than five minutes, reaching speeds of up to 186 mph on his 8-ft carbon wings. God-damn it, I really need to put down my Robotech toys and get back in the lab…
