Wow – this is dope! I wonder why no one’s thought of this before? Or maybe its just cos the price of a Jumbo jet is probably more than a building in downtown New York. Anyway, Dezeen posted this story about the Jumbo Hostel opening in Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport this past January 15th. Built on a real Boeing 747-200 Jumbo Jet, the hostel contains 85 beds in 25 rooms. Accommodations range from dorm room for four adults (about $160 for all 4 beds) to the cockpit suite below with two beds (about $375).

Cockpit Suite
Single- or double suite. Our spacious suite with panorama view have two adjustable beds, sleeps up to two adults. The room is equipped with TV, wireless internet free of charge and toilet with shower.

Private 1-2-3
Our comfortable Private 1-2-3 rooms are equipped with one 140 cm bed and one 90 cm bed, sleeps up to three adults. TV, wireless internet free of charge.

Twin bed room
Our comfortable Twin rooms are equipped with two 90 cm beds, sleeps up to two adults. TV, wireless internet free of charge.
