Only 1,824 decanters of the handpicked whisky to be made
One of the most respected of the large production scotch distilleries, The Macallan announces the limited release “MMXII” expression, part of its highly coveted 1824 Collection. The single malt whisky from Speyside has been handpicked from some of the rarest casks at The Macallan Estate, which explains why only 1,824 decanters will be made available — and only through their global travel retail channel (aka, Duty Free locations). With a rich rosewood color and a nose of sweet dried fruits, soft wood spice, ginger and nutmeg, the The Maca llan 1824 Collection Limited Release MMXII is set to be unveiled next week at TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore. Price still TBD.
