Only 5 of the $585,000 track-ready race cars to be made
Mercedes-Benz and their AMG performance division have unveiled a limited edition 45th Anniversary GT3 edition of their halo SLS AMG supercar, an ode to the very first SL model. Only five of the track ready racecars will be produced for private collectors, at a cost of about $585,000 (€446,250). The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 “45th Anniversary” supercar is only available in the above magno graphite matte paint scheme, and boasts a modified version of the regular SLS’ 6.2 liter V8. Each car will be handmade at their Affalterbach factory, and can be distinguished by its extensive carbon fiber aero body work and full roll cage.
