A retro look back at high fashion, go-go girls & vintage scooters

Along with Vespa, the Lambretta became an iconic vehicle of the 1950s and 1960s when adopted by the UK youth culture known as the Mods. Originally manufactured in Milan by Innocenti, the Lambretta competed in cost and weather protection against the more ubiquitous Italian scooter. Dating back to the pre-WWII era, there’s a whole lot of history packed into these highly personalized methods of transportation, one only hinted at by this calendar which encapsulates Lambretta’s artistic loyalties, and of course the ingenious pairing of girls and motor vehicles. Never seems to grow old, does it?
