Another year, another new set of figures to worship the duo known worldwide as Daft Punk. We’ve seen Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter become manifested in plastic form as Giant Bearbrick Figures and as LEGO-like MEDICOM Toys, as well as ridiculously rad and highly detailed Medicom Action Figures. Now Tamashii Nations gets their shot. As Bandai Japan’s high-end line of collectibles, Tamashii Nations ensured that the 150 mm figures were sharp replications of the French touch duo — placing special attention on the well designed plated helmets and several points of articulation to provide maximum pyramid-riding abilities. The figures were made to celebrate the upcoming Daft Punk album Random Access Memories, due to drop May 21 2013, but no word yet on price. Keep your eyes open to see when they pop up…
