The latest project from the multi-pronged creative universe that is James Franco, the film Child Of God, releases its first trailer today. The film, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival back in August, is yet another based on the works of Cormac McCarthy — the others including the novels No Country For Old Men and The Road and his screenplay The Counsellor. Hard to tell from the trailer if this will be any good, but since it’s McCarthy it’s safe to say it will involve a lot of kittens playing with string, some footballs to the groin and an overall rumination on the inherent goodness of mankind. Both written and directed by Franco, Child Of God has yet to sign major distribution but may see wide release soon…
