We covered Meister (aka MSTR) watches new collection for 2014 in December, and today we highlight a new limited edition watch from the collection. The Los Angeles-based watchmaker, otherwise known as MSTR, has unveiled a special timepiece to celebrate the 2014 Chinese New Year — or the Year Of the Horse. It is only the first in a series of exclusive run timepieces they’ll be releasing this year, this model limited to only 100 pieces. Based on their popular Ambassador model, the Chinese New Year watch features a black stainless steel case with accompanying genuine ostrich leather band. The face is highlighted by Roman numeral hour markers in rose gold, with complimentary matching screws on the bezel and casing. A 6-hand Swiss movement with bold red arms — the supernatural color of royalty and luck in the Chinese culture — complete this special colorway. Each watch will be individually numbered, 1 to 100, and is available for $500.
