This, truly, is one of the coolest concepts we’ve seen in the art world in a long minute. Olloclip, creators of mobile-photography technology, are putting on an art show in Orange County that is worth looking into  — perhaps with a magnifying glass. The show’s theme is nothing big, literally, baring the bold but teensy title of A Gallery For Ants, which they’re describing as “The World’s Smallest Curated Art Exhibit”. The art featured will be that of outdoor and surf photographer Chris Burkard who will additionally be hosting a Q&A and book signing during the Sunday portion of the exhibit from 11am to noon. The itty bitty show will display multiple miniature pedestal installations of Burkard’s art, which you’ll have to peer at through an Olloclip lens to actually, you know, see. Each installation even includes tiny-fied ropes and benches, so you can bring your action figures to admire the art as well. Olloclip’s A Gallery For Ants will start next Friday, August 1st, and run through Sunday, August 3rd at the Shorebreak Hotel, 500 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA 92648. More info here.
