Keith Haring, street artist and beloved social activist, was the mind behind the legendary “Crack is Wack” street mural that has been lighting up the park in East Harlem since 1986. And now its iconic images go to Reebok footwear, who also has its roots to popularity tied deeply to the 80’s. In fact, Reebok will be reintroducing many of its OG, 80’s reminiscent silhouettes with the iconic “Crack Is Wack” look added to the upper. This will actually be the second time around for the Haring x Reebok collaboration (the first being in 2013), with this season’s lineup to include the Instapump Fury, Omni Lite, Court Victory, Running Dual, and Aerobic Lite, all due out sometime late September.
