We’ve been watching Squeak E. Clean DJ here in LA for about ever, but his teaming up with DJ Zegon as N.A.S.A. (North America South America) has been a quantum leap in their careers. We posted before about the building hype for their upcoming album, The Spirit of Apollo (out on Anti- on February 16), but figured we’d post some music now too.

They’re “Whachadoin?” track on paper is a music nerd’s wet dream, combining the best of pop’s new avant garde all in one track: M.I.A., Santogold and Spank Rock. But what’s crazier is this track in reality is just as sick as you’d think…maybe even better. Loving those bass stabs! I guess that’s what happens when you bring in the Baile Funk of Zegon’s native Brazil. Anyway, enough talk — check out the track below…
