Nike's athletic coup to be unveiled in New York City

In one of the biggest coups of American athletics, Nike has procured the exclusive clothing license of the NFL from the clutches of Reebok. Maybe you heard about Nike recently blocking Reebok (a subsidiary of Nike nemesis Adidas) from selling Tim Tebow New York Jets jerseys? Well that’s because the licenses were in a state of limbo transferring from one mega conglomerate to the next, and Nike sued to stop Reebok from selling highly coveted Tebow gear in the interim. This Tuesday, Nike will be unveiling their new uniforms for the NFL in New York, with Nike execs, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and a player from each team there representing. We’ll be there, and we’ll be sending images and stories while they’re unveiled from Stein Studios. Keep you posted…
