James Jarvis’ classic soft vinyl toy now gets transformed… into pillow form. King Ken, the noble creation of Amos, likes rambling and wrestling, which is good for you cos this King Ken head is a 40cm x 35cm cushion. Only 400 will be made under license of Säck und Nolde. Go apesh*t for under $50.
A new edition of Joe Ledbetter’s vinyl toys for The Loyal Subjects hits shelves tomorrow. His Pico & Wilshire figures get a limited edition “La Brea” colorway, meaning his Mammoth (Wilshire) gets dunked in the eponymous tar pits while Pico tries to make him lunch. Only 99 of the figures will be made, each with […]

What strikes you first is their talent for conflating the best of Western street culture with Hong Kong street culture, and lacing it out in Aztec and indigenous Mexican cultural influences. They’re dedicated to making this cultural bouillabaisse accessible to all […]

That Jaws Loser piece last month was pretty amazing, and remember that False Friends figure they did in the beginning of this year? Well they’re back, only this time the False Friends are totally blacked out for their Blackout edition (fitting […]
I love me some vinyl toys, but only when I stumble upon them at a small toy store and can swoop them up for something reasonable. I love figures like the False Friends above, but I just can’t see myself paying $500 – $1K for something that I can’t even drive or wear. Still, these […]
