The Mission One is the brainchild of Mission Motors, who claim it the world’s fastest electric production bike. With an estimated range of 150 miles, boasting a top speed of 150 mph, and generating over 100 ft-lbs of torque from point zero (as electric engines offer 100% torque from 0 rpm), the bike’s stats are serious. And designed by San Francisco’s Yves Béhar (of fuseproject notoriety), its looks are serious too.
Other benefits of its electric engine means that it’s emission free, has only one gear (no clutch nor shifting necessary) and is also spookily silent. Although, many bikers claim that the louder your bike the safer (hence those obnoxious yuppie Harley riders polluting your ears), so that may not be such a good thing.
