Taking a children's winter activity to extreme levels

What did the Pole say to the Georgian? Nothing, poles don’t talk. It may be too soon for jokes about fatal luge crashes, so let’s consider this a public service announcement. Warning: sliding downhill at retarded speeds not meant for human travel can kill you. On that note, take a look at the Alurunner. It’s a lightweight, collapsible sleigh for the extreme sportsman too lazy to learn to ski or snowboard. It’s also the world’s first sled with real shock absorption through an adjustable shock absorber system. Priced at $675, it looks almost as comfortable to sit on as Madman Mundt’s couch, which got thrown in the pool last weekend…sorry about that, dude. Alurunner creators are hard at work on a new model, which will include a dirty couch cushion, cup holder, toilet receptacle and remote control holster. Wow, now that’s comfort.

Several more pics after the Jump…
