The film Hanna centers around a teenage assassin played by Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, The Lovely Bones), who has been trained in the killing arts by her father (Eric Bana), an an ex-CIA agent, in the wilds of Finland. Apparently her father sends her on a mission and the poop hits the proverbial fan… all set to a soundtrack scored by The Chemical Brothers. One of the more promising films coming out this spring, Hanna was directed by the reliable Joe Wright (Pride & Prejudice, The Soloist, Atonement) and also stars Cate Blanchett, Tom Hollander, Olivia Williams and Jason Flemyng. Hanna hits theaters April 8.

Love this kid-Ronan Saoirse in “Lovely Bones” the movie was off- but she was wonderful (like the book). This trailer is very good-makes me anxious to see the movie. Cate Blanchett and the other actors (I recognize) in this make it- that more appealing- to want to see.
[…] I freaked (the original holds a special place in my heart), the trailer for the upcoming movie Hannah has me dancing with myself, and sushi from this place 15 East in Manhattan gets me all googly-eyed. […]
