OH my god, I just pooped my pants when I read the headline to this video. Do you have any idea how long I’ve wished to be a fly on the wall in The Simpsons writers room during its halcyon Conan O’Brien years? You know, when they were penning the monorail song, and sending Homer back to college after figuring out that it was indeed he, not Bart, who was the true lynchpin of the show? In his new Serious Jibber-Jabber with Conan O’Brien web series, CoCo is free to do long, uninterrupted conversations with “interesting people on topics which fascinate him”. Sounds about right. I can’t imagine a more interesting group than Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jay Kogen and Jeff Martin —  fellow scribes from The Simpsons who reunite with Conan for a 80-minute discussion about comedy, fatherhood, and the early days of what was once the best animated show ever. Sit back, pop open an ice cold Duff and let the genius wash over you…
