Super7 collabs with Lucasfilm on first Super Shogun toy in 25 years and releases 1970s commercial

UPDATE: Super7 just released a retro-flavored commercial for the Star Wars Stormtrooper Super Shogun we highlighted back in February, peep it below!

As part of a collaboration between toy design studio Super7 and the great Lucas dynasty, it’s the first Super Shogun figure made in over twenty-five years and it’s all Star Wars, baby! This 2-foot stormtrooper is made in true Japanese Shogun Warrior (aka Jumbo Machinder) fashion with wheels implanted in its feet and a spring loaded fist launcher. And if that weren’t enough, this minion of the Empire is packing a peace-keeping BlasTech E-11 laser blaster, sure to dispatch any pesky rebel that stands in the way of the Dark Side and intergalactic imperialism. Packaged in a gift box illustrated with iconic graphics from both franchises, each Stormtrooper is individually serial numbered as part of this one-time limited-edition production run. Buy it now for $300.
