Labels don’t grow much more cultural heritage than Fred Perry, a onetime tennis brand that expanded to become embraced by subcultures far flung, from mods and preppies to 2tones and skinheads (just look at their Fred Perry x Medicom 60th Anniversary Bearbrick Series for verification). The vaunted British brand has now teamed up with fellow Brit holdover Dr. Martens for a capsule collection with Japanese retailer BEAMS. Tapping their roots with the skinhead movement, the collection features mostly monochromatic colorways with the odd splash of burgundy and navy to spice up the black and white. Fred Perry signature items like polo shirts, hats, and tennis wristbands are augmented with Doc Martens’ redesigned Quilt Wing-Tip Shoes.  Set to drop at the end of May, you can pre-order items right now at BEAMS.
