A scarf of great lengths by Stephanie Oberg

London designer Stephanie Oberg has worked with many design houses in the UK but her own project, Von Son, has recently reached new levels of design and style. The sky’s the limit when it comes to creativity — her oversized silhouettes, attention to detail and superb tailoring are only a few aspects of her collections. […]

Classic stadium jacket and Japanese lamb’s leather biker jacket

More awesomeness from the sewing machines of Passarella Death Squad, this time in the form of 2 leather jackets. Just like all of the label’s collection — including their recent Velvet Underground Tshirts or ready-to-wear collection from this spring and summer — all of London-based Passarella Death Squad’s cut and sew pieces are made from  […]

Yum Yum's Heroes & Villains toys

A second collection of toys from London-based designers Yum Yum, who are Beth Algieri and Jonny Plummer. The collection is called Heroes & Villains, and feature highly stylized icons of bravery and villainy. I especially dig the accessories, like the bank robber’s dynamite and zombie’s brains. The items are made up […]

The action figures sex world of Alex Kliszynski

London-based artist and photographer Alex Kliszynski has made an interesting series of Photoshopped photographs conflating porn with Barbie dolls. As Alex explains: “The main body of my work is a number of human-dolls that aim to raise questions about the numerous images of the objectified and idealised body that we see in the mass media…I […]

The French label has taken their Voyager collection and integrated into each special pockets: one for your passport, one for easy pen access and a chest pocket perfect for your flight ticket or immigration documents. The second Private Edition single malt from Glenmorangie

Glenmorangie recently unveiled the latest spirit in its Private Edition range of limited edition expressions, titled Glenmorangie Finealta — which is Scottish Gaelic for ‘elegant’. What makes it especially noteworthy is it is a painstaking recreation of a century-old Glenmorangie recipe recently unearthed in the distillery’s archives. “Glenmorangie decided to recreate this recipe so that […]

The band formerly known as Pivot drop their sophomore album "Church With No Magic" on Warp Records

Australia’s PVT have just released their sophomore album Church With No Magic on the peerless Warp Records. Leftfield, dense with textured sounds and more than a bit deranged, the band formerly known as Pivot have a headlock on damaged techno, for lack of a better term. Amidst all that digital rubble, however, are beautiful layers […]
