Aged 16 years, Thor has a vanilla and gingerbread palate sure to strike the senses. Only 1,500 bottles will be released and are packaged in a bespoke wooden frame, the design inspired by the dragon-head bows of Viking ships. Perhaps if you drink it, you too will gain the mighty powers of Thor (sans Mjölner, naturally). Take it easy though, the single malt scotch — conjured in Scotland’s most northern distillery in the Orkney Islands — is clearly meant to be appreciated slowly.
