We’ve covered the Macallan “Masters of Photography” Albert Watson Scotch before, and now the premium Speyside distillery is featuring photographs from acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz as the third in their “Masters Of Photography” series. Known for working as a staff photographer for Rolling Stone, and more importantly the last person to photograph John Lennon, here the platform for her “Macallan Moments” are pictures taken around New York City of Scottish actor Kevin McKidd (Trainspotting, Rome, Grey’s Anatomy). Four different bottles will be released this fall, each a varying expression and age, for a limited run of 1,000 at $2,750. For a bottle that ranges from tastes of vanilla to cream soda to lemon and other citrus fruits while acting as a collectable piece of art simultaneously, it’s worth every penny.
